Dyson Breaks Ground with $500 AI-Driven CameraJet Toothbrush
Dyson has made a grand entrance into the oral care market with a groundbreaking innovation: the Dyson CameraJet™. This revolutionary electric toothbrush, unveiled by founder James Dyson in Paris on September 1, 2026, is the first of its kind to feature a built-in 100,000-pixel macro-lens camera powered by machine learning. Its purpose? To identify, track, and target the gaps between your teeth in real time, all for a price tag of $500.
The CameraJet utilizes Dyson’s proprietary Gap Optical Targeting™ technology. This system analyzes 28 live images per second, automatically firing a precision jet burst of mouthrinse exactly where plaque tends to hide. The result is an effective flossing action as you brush. This device, the product of six years of development and 38 filed patents, combines variable sonic oscillation, precision fluid dynamics, Wi-Fi connectivity, and an in-app live feed of your own teeth.
The complete Dyson Dental System launched on September 1. This system includes the CameraJet toothbrush, a charging dock, a travel case, Dyson Toothpaste, and Dyson Mouthrinse. It’s available via dyson.com and selected retailers. The toothbrush comes in two color options: Ceramic Ultra Blue and Ceramic Pink. Pre-orders began shipping on September 8.
