Dyson’s Groundbreaking $499 AI-Powered CameraJet Toothbrush: A New Era in Dental Hygiene
Dyson has officially marked its entry into the oral care market with the launch of its revolutionary CameraJet toothbrush on September 1, 2026. This device, unlike any other in dental hygiene, combines an electric toothbrush, a precision water flosser, and a built-in 100,000-pixel macro-lens camera that captures 28 images per second inside your mouth, all for a price of $499.
The CameraJet toothbrush is powered by Dyson’s proprietary machine-learning system, Gap Optical Targeting™. This system analyzes live images in real time to identify gaps between teeth — the initial formation sites of plaque — and triggers a targeted burst of mouthrinse within approximately 100 milliseconds. This innovative feature allows for effective flossing while brushing. Additionally, the camera doubles as a high-quality endoscope, enabling users to see exactly what their dentist sees via the MyDyson™ app.
Available in two colorways — Ceramic Ultra Blue and Ceramic Pink — the CameraJet package includes a refill dock, two brush heads, a charging cable, and a travel case. The Dyson Dental System also provides custom SLS-free Dyson Toothpaste and Mouthrinse for optimal performance. Pre-orders are currently open, with shipping set to begin on September 8. This project, which took 661 Dyson engineers six years to complete, has resulted in 38 filed patents.
