Intuit Breaks Records with $21.4B Revenue, Fueled by AI Strategy
Financial technology leader Intuit Inc. (Nasdaq: INTU) has announced a record-breaking fiscal 2026, with total annual revenue reaching $21.4 billion. This represents a 14% increase year-over-year and marks the first time the company has exceeded the $20 billion threshold. The results, published on Tuesday, August 26, surpassed Wall Street’s predictions in every significant metric.
CEO Sasan Goodarzi attributed the success to Intuit’s “Big Bets” strategy. This strategy includes Assisted Tax (TurboTax Live), Money, and Mid-Market initiatives, which collectively grew by 34% and now account for 30% of the full-year revenue. Revenue from TurboTax Live saw a 37% increase and now makes up 53% of total TurboTax sales. Meanwhile, Credit Karma revenue rose by 20% to $2.6 billion. QuickBooks Online Accounting revenue increased by 23%, and online payment volume reached over $225 billion, a 30% increase year-over-year.
GAAP earnings per share rose by 20% to $16.46, and non-GAAP EPS reached $24.27. Despite these impressive results, Intuit’s stock fell as investors turned their attention to the company’s fiscal 2027 outlook. CFO Sandeep Aujla described the upcoming year as a “reset to reaccelerate”—a planned short-term deceleration in revenue growth while revamping the customer-acquisition engine. The company also raised its quarterly dividend by 15% to $1.38 per share and repurchased $5.5 billion in stock during the year.
