Aston Martin’s $2M Valen: The Most Powerful Front-Engine Supercar Ever
Aston Martin has unveiled the most powerful front-engined production car in its 113-year history — the awe-inspiring Valen. The grand reveal took place on August 14, 2026, during the esteemed Monterey Car Week in Monterey, California. The Valen is the third in a line of bespoke V12 supercars from Aston’s ultra-exclusive Q by Aston Martin division, following the Valour and Valiant models.
At the core of the Valen lies a twin-turbocharged 5.2-liter V12 engine, churning out a whopping 838 horsepower. This makes it the most powerful front-engined production car ever built. The car boasts a blistering acceleration, going from 0 to 62 mph in just 3.1 seconds, and can reach a top speed of 214 mph.
Power is transmitted through an eight-speed ZF transaxle, with shift logic derived directly from Aston’s Vantage GT4 race cars. The Valen’s dramatic full carbon-fiber body is up to 110 kg lighter than Aston Martin’s existing V12 platform, thanks to the use of motorsport-inspired materials. A specially tuned titanium exhaust system completes the aggressive package.
Production will be strictly limited to just 150 examples, with deliveries set to begin in Q2 2027. The starting price is a cool $2 million, before any bespoke Q options are added.
