The FIFA World Cup 2026, hosted across the United States, Canada, and Mexico, is proving to be one of the most powerful catalysts for global travel demand in recent history. The numbers are staggering. According to the U.S. Travel Association, the tournament is projected to generate over $5 billion in direct tourism spending across North American host cities. The United Kingdom leads all international source markets, accounting for a massive 19.4% of all flight bookings into tournament cities.
