A stunning new chapter has arrived for one of the Sierra Nevada’s most iconic resort destinations. Caesars Entertainment has officially unveiled Caesars Republic Lake Tahoe Hotel & Casino in Stateline, Nevada, marking the completion of a sweeping $160 million multi-phase transformation of the former Harveys Lake Tahoe property.
The grand opening celebration on July 6, 2026, was a spectacle to behold. It featured champagne receptions, a ceremonial ribbon-cutting with longtime Caesars partner Lisa Vanderpump, and immersive live performances. The revamped resort now welcomes guests to a fully reimagined lobby, a modernized casino floor, and new dining and nightlife destinations.
