Caesars Republic Lake Tahoe: A New Era of Luxury Unveiled After $200M Transformation

One of America’s most iconic mountain resort destinations, Caesars Republic Lake Tahoe Hotel & Casino, has just undergone a dramatic makeover. Caesars Entertainment officially unveiled the fully reimagined resort in Stateline, Nevada on July 6, 2026, marking the completion of a sweeping $200 million multi-phase transformation of the legendary former Harveys Lake Tahoe — a property with a rich history dating back to 1944.

The grand opening was celebrated with a champagne reception and a star-studded ribbon-cutting ceremony. The event was graced by TV personality and restaurateur Lisa Vanderpump. The transformed resort now boasts a fully reimagined lobby, a modernized casino floor, and a curated lineup of dining and nightlife destinations. These include WOLF by Vanderpump, Gordon Ramsay’s HELL’S KITCHEN, and the new live music lounge Tessie’s Cocktails & Chords.

Together with the neighboring Harrah’s Lake Tahoe — connected via an indoor walkway — the combined resort now offers nearly 1,250 guest rooms and approximately 88,000 square feet of gaming space. This makes it Lake Tahoe’s largest casino destination. Outdoor lovers will appreciate direct access to the beach, lake activities, and the Heavenly Mountain Resort ski area.

“The result is a resort that feels vibrant, elevated, and unmistakably Tahoe,” said Karie Hall, SVP and General Manager of Harrah’s and Caesars Republic Lake Tahoe.
