Diesel Unveils ‘Only Desire’ — A Debut in Women’s Fragrance
Italian fashion titan, Diesel, has boldly stepped into the realm of women’s fragrances with the debut of Only Desire, its inaugural perfume exclusively for women. The Eau de Parfum, developed under the creative helm of Belgian designer Glenn Martens and in partnership with L’Oréal, is championed by Gen Z icon and global ambassador, Dove Cameron, who commands a following of over 74 million across Instagram and TikTok.
The fragrance, a masterpiece by renowned perfumers Nelly Hachem-Ruiz and Paul Guerlain, is built around a unique “Metallic Vanilla” accord. This combines sustainably sourced Madagascar Bourbon vanilla with amber notes, metallic aldehydes, living vanilla orchid, jasmine, and a special “Desire-Trigger Accord” designed to provoke an emotional and instinctive reaction. The outcome is a warm, sensual, and intensely diffusive scent trail.
The bottle design is just as captivating: a sculpted transparent glass inspired by the shape of an orchid, filled with a deep red liquid, and adorned at its core with a galvanized steel Oval D logo — transforming it into a wearable jewel-like object. The campaign, directed by Amber Grace Johnson and captured by Harley Weir, embodies the manifesto “My Desire. My Power.”
Only Desire is available in 30ml, 50ml, and 80ml Eau de Parfum sizes.
