Coty Inc. Announces Major Leadership Changes in Beauty Industry Reshuffle
Global beauty giant Coty Inc. (NYSE: COTY) has announced a comprehensive set of organizational changes under its Coty.Curated strategy. This marks one of the most significant leadership shake-ups in the company’s recent history. Effective July 2, 2026, Executive Chairman and interim CEO Markus Strobel will personally take direct control of Prestige commercial operations. All regional leaders will now report directly to him, a move designed to bring decision-making closer to the markets and enhance accountability.
Among the key changes, Séverine Charbon has been appointed as the new Chief People & Purpose Officer, effective September 1, 2026. She joins from Publicis Groupe, where she most recently served as Chief Talent Officer International. Charbon brings over 25 years of experience in talent strategy and organizational transformation. She succeeds Priya Srinivasan, who is stepping down for personal reasons.
Further, Dr. Shimei Fan, Chief Scientific & Sustainability Officer, will depart at the end of August. Prestige commercial chief Caroline Andreotti will exit at the end of September after nearly two decades with the company.
Coty is also merging its Prestige R&D and sustainability teams with supply chain into a single function. This will be led on an interim basis by Graeme Carter, Chief Supply Chain Officer. The restructuring underscores Coty’s drive for a leaner, more agile operating model as it continues to navigate challenges in the prestige and mass-market beauty sectors.
