Samsung Unveils the Galaxy Book6 Edge: A New Era of AI Laptops Powered by Snapdragon X2 Elite

Samsung has officially launched the Galaxy Book6 Edge, its most advanced AI laptop to date, powered by Qualcomm’s brand-new Snapdragon X2 Elite processor. The launch, confirmed on June 15, 2026, marks Samsung’s first use of the Snapdragon X2 Elite platform in a Galaxy Book device, positioning the machine squarely in the rapidly growing AI PC category.

The Galaxy Book6 Edge boasts a stunning 16-inch 120Hz Dynamic AMOLED 2X display housed in a razor-thin 12.3mm metal chassis. Under the hood, the Snapdragon X2 Elite packs a powerful 80 TOPS Neural Processing Unit (NPU), enabling on-device AI acceleration and Copilot+ PC experiences.

The US configuration ships with 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and a 1TB SSD, and is priced at $2,099.99.

Samsung is positioning the laptop as a premium productivity companion that integrates deeply with the Galaxy smartphone ecosystem via features like Multi Control and Quick Share. The device is available now in the United States at Samsung.com and authorized retailers.

The launch comes at a pivotal moment as AI-powered workloads become central to the modern PC experience, with ARM-based chips increasingly challenging traditional x86 processors from Intel and AMD.
