Introducing Cirrus Aircraft’s New SR Series Annual Flight Review Course
Cirrus Aircraft proudly presents the new SR Series Annual Flight Review Course. This course is available through the Cirrus Approach™ digital learning platform and offers a comprehensive recurrent training program for SR20, SR22, and SR22T pilots worldwide, irrespective of their current aircraft ownership.
Course Structure
The course is divided into three sequential segments:
- Online learning via the Cirrus Approach platform
- Ground instruction
- Flight instruction with a Cirrus Standardized Instructor Pilot (CSIP)
Key safety focus areas of the course include stabilized approaches and go-arounds. The entire program is designed to be completed in a single half-day session. It includes three lessons, two assessments, 14 instructional videos, and two quizzes.
FAA Flight Review Requirement
Completion of this course satisfies the FAA Flight Review requirement under 14 CFR Part 61.56. This regulation mandates a biennial flight review for all U.S. certificate holders. The course, priced at $250, is accessible through the Cirrus Approach portal or any Cirrus Training Center. The content will be updated annually to reflect the latest safety priorities across the SR Series fleet.
