Historic Debut of RAF Red Arrows at AirVenture Oshkosh 2026
The Royal Air Force’s legendary Red Arrows aerobatic team is set to make a historic debut at the EAA AirVenture Oshkosh in July. This marks a significant moment for aviation enthusiasts worldwide.
The Red Arrows will perform during the afternoon air shows on July 24-26 at Wisconsin’s Wittman Regional Airport. This performance is part of their extended U.S. tour commemorating America’s 250th anniversary. Since their formation in 1965, the Red Arrows have flown nearly 5,000 displays in 57 countries using their British-built Hawk T1 fast-jets.
According to Rick Larsen, EAA’s vice president of communities and member programs, “The Red Arrows have long been on the list of teams that aviation enthusiasts have wanted to see at Oshkosh.” The team’s pilots, who bring operational experience from frontline aircraft such as the advanced Typhoon, are based at RAF Waddington in Lincolnshire. In addition to their performances, team members will also participate in public appearances and events on the grounds throughout AirVenture week.
