Elixir Aircraft, French Manufacturer, Initiates US Deliveries to Flight Schools

Marking a significant milestone in its global expansion, French manufacturer Elixir Aircraft has initiated its first deliveries to the United States, the world’s largest general aviation market. The company is delivering three aircraft to flight schools in Florida and Arizona, with an aim to showcase them at the EAA AirVenture Oshkosh 2026 in July.

The first deliveries are destined for Cirrus Aviation, a Florida-based flight school. Cirrus Aviation placed its initial order in 2020 and has committed to purchasing 10 aircraft. Sierra Charlie Aviation in Scottsdale, Arizona, is also welcoming its first Elixir as part of a pre-order for 100 aircraft. Arthur Léopold-Léger, President and Co-founder of Elixir Aircraft, hailed the US deliveries as “a decisive milestone” and “the culmination of ten years of work.”

The two-seat trainer aircraft, which received FAA Part 23 certification in July 2025, boasts of innovative Carbon “OneShot” technology. This technology utilizes carbon fiber to mold entire wing and fuselage components in single pieces. This unique design significantly reduces the number of parts compared to traditional aircraft, thereby lowering maintenance needs and costs.

In order to support the North American market, Elixir is setting up a reassembly and delivery facility in Sarasota, Florida. The company has already recorded nearly 300 pre-orders in this region.
