Tecnam Achieves Record-Breaking 86 Aircraft Orders at AERO 2026

Italian aircraft manufacturer Tecnam has marked a historic milestone at AERO Friedrichshafen 2026, securing a record-breaking 86 confirmed aircraft orders during the four-day aviation exhibition that concluded on April 29, 2026.

Boasting the largest booth at the show, spanning 1,216 square meters of indoor space plus an additional 144 square meters of outdoor display, the company attracted major orders. These included:

  • 13 aircraft from Greybird Aviation Group,
  • 12 P2010 TDI aircraft from Spanish flight school European Flyers,
  • 11 new aircraft from Denmark’s Center Air Pilot Academy.

“Securing 86 confirmed orders in just four days is a staggering achievement that speaks volumes about the trust operators place in our aircraft,” said Walter Da Costa, Tecnam’s Chief Sales Officer.

The show also witnessed the historic handover of the EASA Type Certificate for the new P2008JC NG, personally delivered by EASA Executive Director Florian Guillermet.

The surge in orders was driven by substantial commitments from global dealers, particularly strong demand from South American partners, and major fleet expansions by European flight training academies seeking sustainable, highly efficient aircraft.
