Cirrus Introduces Complimentary Simulator Training for SR Series Owners
Cirrus Aircraft recently announced the launch of Mission Ready Simulator Sessions, a complimentary year-long simulator training program tailored for SR20 and SR22 owners. The program, unveiled on April 9, 2026, offers 24 structured, mission-based simulator sessions released bi-monthly, providing pilots with a consistent, scenario-driven pathway to maintain proficiency throughout the year.
Devised by Cirrus Standardized Instructor Pilots (CSIPs), these sessions incorporate real-world decision-making, application of aircraft systems knowledge, risk management, and the purposeful use of Cirrus aircraft features. Each scenario includes realistic ATC communications and clearly defined objectives, ensuring top-notch flight training.
“Extensive aviation research along with decades of operational experience in flight training environments continues to demonstrate that structured simulation is one of the most effective tools for strengthening pilot decision-making and sustaining proficiency,” said Zean Nielsen, CEO of Cirrus Aircraft.
Owners can immediately enroll through Cirrus Approach and complete sessions at participating Cirrus Training Centers nationwide at no extra cost. This program marks the initial phase of a broader investment to expand flight training content, aiming to enhance safety through continuous learning.
