Estée Lauder Welcomes New Digital & Marketing Chief in Strategic Restructure
The Estée Lauder Companies have proudly announced the appointment of Aude Gandon as its inaugural Chief Digital & Marketing Officer (CDMO), a role that will be effective from August 1, 2025. This newly minted position signifies a substantial shift in the beauty behemoth’s strategic focus, emphasizing digital transformation and consumer engagement.
Gandon, a former Global Chief Marketing Officer at Nestlé, brings with her a wealth of experience from her tenure at Google and various major advertising agencies. Her appointment underscores Estée Lauder’s dedication to refining its consumer-centric approach and bolstering marketing as a key commercial growth driver across its robust brand portfolio, which includes powerhouses like MAC, Clinique, and La Mer.
“As consumer behaviors continue to evolve, the opportunity to lead the digital and marketing transformation for a premier prestige beauty company is incredibly exciting,” said Gandon.
The introduction of this role comes as Estée Lauder strives to regain momentum after predicting sales declines of up to 9% in 2025.
