Anthropic Announces $30B Revenue and Historic TPU Partnership with Google

AI powerhouse, Anthropic, has declared a monumental infrastructure collaboration with tech giants, Google and Broadcom. The announcement, made on April 6, 2026, confirms the securing of approximately 3.5 gigawatts of next-generation TPU computing capacity. This capacity is scheduled to come online in 2027, marking Anthropic’s most substantial compute commitment to date. The move comes as the company strives to meet the skyrocketing demand for its Claude AI models.

Alongside this, Anthropic has unveiled impressive growth figures. The company’s annualized revenue run rate has now soared past the $30 billion mark. This is a significant leap from the $9 billion recorded at the end of 2025. The company also revealed that over 1,000 business customers are now each spending more than $1 million annually. This figure has effectively doubled in less than two months since its Series G fundraising announcement in February.

“This groundbreaking partnership with Google and Broadcom is a continuation of our disciplined approach to scaling infrastructure,” commented Krishna Rao, CFO of Anthropic. The multi-gigawatt TPU infrastructure will be primarily deployed in the United States. This follows Anthropic’s November 2025 commitment to invest $50 billion in American AI computing infrastructure.

Despite Amazon remaining as Anthropic’s primary cloud provider and training partner through Project Rainier, the company upholds a multi-platform strategy. This strategy utilizes AWS Trainium, Google TPUs, and NVIDIA GPUs to optimize different workloads.
