HolyMicro Unveils SkyVoice Alert: An Advanced Aviation Safety System with Extended Range

HolyMicro, a renowned manufacturer of aviation safety equipment, has recently unveiled its new SkyVoice Alert system with an impressive extended range capability of 1,000 feet. This system is a significant upgrade from the previously successful SkyVoice Alert 500, offering enhanced situational awareness for general aviation pilots, particularly during critical takeoff and landing operations.

The innovative system leverages LiDAR technology to deliver precise Above Ground Level (AGL) measurements. It also provides customizable audio announcements at various altitudes, ranging from 500 feet down to a mere 1 foot. One of the standout features of this device is the “Check Gear” warning. This alert is activated from 560 feet AGL until the landing gear is securely down and locked, thereby helping to prevent gear-up landings.

Pilots have the flexibility to customize audio announcements and reminders. This includes checklist items, gear warnings, and fuel checks. This feature ensures that crucial information is effectively communicated, enhancing overall safety.

All HolyMicro aviation safety products, including the new SkyVoice Alert system, are FAA-approved under the NORSEE program. This means they are eligible for use in general aviation aircraft without the need for complex certification requirements. The extended range version of the SkyVoice Alert system represents a significant advancement in pilot safety technology for the general aviation community.
