Royal Caribbean’s latest marvel, the Hero of the Seas, has created quite a stir with the opening of bookings on April 1, 2026. The spotlight is on the Ultimate Family Treehouse, a luxurious three-story suite that can cost up to $200,000 per week during peak holiday seasons. This extraordinary accommodation has already sold out on multiple sailings, even before the ship’s official launch in August 2027.
The Ultimate Family Treehouse, spanning three decks, is designed to accommodate up to 12 guests. It boasts of 2,389 interior square feet and an additional 1,722 square feet of balcony space. The suite’s amenities include:
- A private rooftop terrace with a whirlpool
- Two main bedrooms, each with private balconies
- A two-story teen hideout with a game room and spiral staircase
- Indoor and outdoor dining areas
- Four bathrooms
Located in the family-friendly Surfside neighborhood, the suite offers direct access to all amenities.
Pricing for the Ultimate Family Treehouse varies significantly based on the sailing date. Shoulder season cruises start at around $43,000 per person (based on double occupancy), while the New Year’s Eve sailing on December 30 can reach up to $187,660 per person. The suite also includes Star Class perks such as complimentary Deluxe Beverage Packages, specialty dining, Wi-Fi, gratuities, and a dedicated Royal Genie concierge.
The Hero of the Seas, the fourth Icon Class ship, will homeport in Miami, offering seven-night Caribbean cruises. The ship features:
