NetJets Welcomes the World’s Fastest Business Jet: Bombardier Global 8000
NetJets, a leading fractional ownership provider, recently celebrated the delivery of its first Bombardier Global 8000. This jet is recognized as the world’s fastest civilian aircraft since the Concorde. The delivery ceremony was held on March 26, 2026, at Bombardier’s Laurent Beaudoin Completion Centre in Montreal.
The Global 8000 comes with a set of impressive specifications. It boasts a top speed of Mach 0.95 (627 mph) and an ultra-long range of 8,000 nautical miles. This allows for up to 16.75 hours of continuous flight, enabling unprecedented nonstop city pairs such as Dubai to Houston, Singapore to Los Angeles, and London to Perth.
One of the standout features of this aircraft is the lowest cabin altitude in business aviation. At just 2,691 feet while cruising at 41,000 feet, it helps passengers arrive refreshed and reduces jet lag. NetJets has plans to build a 24-strong fleet of Global 8000 aircraft and will upgrade its entire in-service Global 7500 fleet to the new model.
“The Global 8000 is redefining the business aviation landscape with its unmatched performance, signature smooth ride and innovative design,” said Éric Martel, President and CEO of Bombardier.
