JetBlue Expands Fort Lauderdale Operations and Introduces Cleveland Route

JetBlue Airways announced a significant expansion at Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport on March 26, 2026, launching a new service to Cleveland and enhancing frequencies across nine existing routes.

Starting July 8, 2026, the airline will commence daily nonstop service between Fort Lauderdale and Cleveland Hopkins International Airport. This addition means JetBlue has launched service to 21 cities and increased its daily flights by nearly 32 departures from Fort Lauderdale over the past year.

Daniel Shurz, senior vice president of network planning at JetBlue, stated that these additions reflect the airline’s “ongoing strategy to build an undeniably strong and relevant network in Fort Lauderdale by adding both new destinations and more frequencies where our customers want to fly.”

The expansion solidifies JetBlue’s position as the airport’s largest carrier, operating the most departures at FLL. To celebrate the new Cleveland route, TrueBlue members who book between March 26-29, 2026 will be eligible to receive 2,500 bonus TrueBlue points.
