Experience ‘Wuthering Heights’ with Airbnb: A Boost for West Yorkshire Tourism

Film-inspired tourism is reaching new heights with Airbnb’s exclusive overnight stay in a recreation of Cathy Earnshaw’s bedroom from Emerald Fennell’s new “Wuthering Heights” film. Starring Margot Robbie and Jacob Elordi, this immersive experience is a partnership with Warner Bros. Pictures. It offers three complimentary one-night stays from February 27 to March 4, 2026, in the heart of West Yorkshire’s Brontë Country.

This unique collaboration has sparked a significant surge in tourism interest. Searches for West Yorkshire Valentine’s getaways have seen a 67% increase among UK Gen Z travelers and 59% globally. The experience includes a horseback ride across the moorlands, traditional Yorkshire afternoon tea, a candlelit dinner, and an intimate listening session of Charli XCX’s “Wuthering Heights” soundtrack created for the film.

The experience is located at the historic Holdsworth House in West Yorkshire, where much of the film was shot. The meticulously designed bedroom features skin-toned walls matching Robbie’s exact complexion, complete with theatrical details such as hair strands and vein-like patterns. Guests will also receive an exclusive vinyl album and visit the Brontë Parsonage Museum, the family home where Emily Brontë penned the classic 1847 novel.

This initiative is a testament to the growing trend of “set-jetting,” where travelers visit filming locations and themed experiences. VisitBritain CEO Patricia Yates praised the collaboration for bringing Britain’s places and stories to life, positioning West Yorkshire as an emerging romantic travel destination. Bookings open February 20 on a first-come, first-served basis.
