Vegan K-Beauty Brand OliviaUmma Debuts in 270 Sephora Stores Nationwide

OliviaUmma, a vegan K-beauty brand founded by Hye Young Kim, is making waves in the U.S. skincare market. This month, the brand officially launches at Sephora stores nationwide, marking a significant milestone in the growing K-beauty movement.

The brand’s Milky Resurfacing Brightening Toner Pads are now available online and in nearly 270 Sephora locations across the country as a Sephora exclusive. In addition, the brand’s Cloud Foam Hydrating Cleanser – another Sephora exclusive – will be available online alongside seven other products from the collection.

OliviaUmma, which translates to ‘Olivia’s mom’ in Korean, was created by Kim as a tribute to her relationship with her daughter. The Miami-based founder, who was born in Korea, developed the brand to reflect Korea’s deep respect for skincare. She combined highly efficient formulas with an emotionally resonant user experience.

This launch comes as K-beauty continues to accelerate in the U.S. market. Boots UK reports a fivefold increase in K-beauty sales and a Korean skincare product selling every 11 seconds in 2025. The category is expanding beyond traditional skincare into new areas including K-Fragrance, K-Haircare and K-Pharmacy in 2026.
