Prague Welcomes Global Exhibitors at Prestigious Tourism Fair
The 34th annual HOLIDAY WORLD & REGION WORLD tourism fair, a beacon of global tourism, opened its doors from March 12-14, 2026 at the PVA EXPO PRAHA exhibition centre in Letňany, Prague. The event saw the convergence of nearly 300 exhibitors from a plethora of countries, all eager to showcase their unique destinations and innovative travel experiences.
Backed by Czech Tourism and government agencies, this nationally recognized event has garnered international attention as one of Central Europe’s premier tourism gatherings. With an expected turnout of approximately 21,000 visitors, the fair presented a diverse range of destinations, from traditional European countries to exotic locations across continents. One of the major highlights of this year’s fair was the emphasis on gastronomy, reflecting current tourism trends. The Taste of Travel festival was introduced, celebrating the intrinsic connection between food and tourism. Czechia, having recently earned recognition in the first-ever MICHELIN Guide to Czechia, is positioning itself as a culinary superpower, placing it among the world’s 16 most interesting culinary destinations.
The event also featured a variety of workshops, seminars, and panel discussions covering a range of topics:
