Thrust Flight Launches New Aviation Training Campus in Fort Worth
Thrust Flight, a premier aviation training provider based in Dallas, has proudly announced the inauguration of its fifth location. The new campus, located at Spinks Airport (KFWS) in Fort Worth, Texas, opened its doors on March 5, 2026. This strategic expansion aims to cater to the needs of aspiring pilots and aircraft maintenance professionals in Fort Worth, Burleson, Mansfield, and the surrounding areas.
The state-of-the-art, air-conditioned campus is home to Thrust Flight’s acclaimed Zero Time to AirlineĀ® program. This accelerated FAA-approved Part 141 training curriculum is designed to transform students with no flight experience into airline-ready professionals in as little as 12 months. In addition, the campus houses the Thrust Institute of Maintenance, offering a 10-month FAA-approved program that prepares students to become licensed Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) technicians.
CEO Patrick Arnzen expressed his excitement about the new location, stating, “Students in the Fort Worth area have been asking for a location closer to home, and now we can finally give it to them.“
Students will have the opportunity to train in brand-new Piper Archer TX aircraft, equipped with Garmin G1000 avionics and air conditioning. The campus also provides Piper Seminole twins for multi-engine instruction. The location offers real-world airspace experience due to its proximity to Class B and C airspace at DFW International and Fort Worth Meacham airports.
Thrust Flight continues to maintain partnerships with major airlines, including:
- SkyWest
- Envoy Air
- Republic Airways
- Spirit
