Foxconn Experiences 21.6% Revenue Boost Amid AI Server Demand Upsurge

Hon Hai Precision Industry, more commonly known as Foxconn, recently announced an impressive revenue growth of 21.6% during the initial two months of 2026. The revenue reached a staggering NT$1.33 trillion ($42 billion), driven by the escalating demand for AI infrastructure.

The Taiwanese manufacturing giant, recognized as the top iPhone assembler for Apple and the largest server maker for Nvidia, attributes this surge predominantly to the robust demand for AI server rack products. On March 6, 2026, Foxconn’s chairman, Young Liu, expressed optimism about the company’s prospects, forecasting 2026 to be “a very good year” with an expected double-digit growth rate in full-year revenue.

Foxconn’s success mirrors the wider AI infrastructure expansion. Major tech companies, including Alphabet, Amazon, Meta Platforms, and Microsoft, are collectively planning to invest over $650 billion in data centers and AI capacity in 2026. Foxconn has strategically positioned itself as a vital supplier in this ecosystem, assembling servers designed to accommodate Nvidia accelerators utilized in large-scale computing environments.

Despite the seasonal slowdowns in traditional information and communications technology products, Foxconn anticipates sustained strong performance from its cloud and networking products division throughout the first quarter of 2026. The results are projected to be on the upper end of its historical range.
