Lancôme Set to Revolutionize Skincare with Mitopure-Powered Longevity Collection
Luxury beauty brand Lancôme is poised to redefine the skincare industry with the introduction of a pioneering longevity-focused collection, fortified by Mitopure technology. This innovative skincare range, a collaborative effort with Swiss biotech firm Timeline, is slated for unveiling at the American Academy of Dermatology convention in Denver, Colorado, from March 27-29, 2026.
Central to this breakthrough is Mitopure, an exceptionally purified variant of Urolithin A—a postbiotic with clinical validation for its ability to re-energize mitochondria via a cellular renewal process termed mitophagy. Supported by an investment exceeding $50 million in research and development, and a 15-year study period, this molecule was initially developed for oral supplements aimed at bolstering muscle health and immunity.
Vania Lacascade, Global Brand President of Lancôme, expressed the significance of this launch, “This will mark the first deployment of Mitopure at global scale through a major beauty brand“. The collection synergizes Timeline’s longevity science with Lancôme’s proprietary compounds to target the skin’s visible biological age, moving beyond mere surface symptoms.
Chris Rinsch, co-founder and President of Timeline, underscored the importance of this partnership, “We want the most people possible to benefit from these discoveries that we’re making. Lancôme is really enabling this.” The products pledge to deliver high-performance, sensorial luxury formulas designed to restore cellular vitality and offer a fresh perspective on skin aging.
