Lancôme and Timeline Collaborate to Launch Revolutionary Longevity Skincare with Mitopure®
In a groundbreaking move set to reshape the beauty industry, Lancôme has announced its first longevity-focused skincare range. This innovative collection, developed in partnership with Swiss biotech company Timeline, will be unveiled at the American Academy of Dermatology Annual Meeting from March 27-29, 2026, in Denver, Colorado.
The revolutionary range introduces Mitopure® (Urolithin A) into topical skincare for the first time globally. This clinically studied longevity molecule, derived from pomegranate ellagitannins, has been backed by more than $50 million in R&D over 15 years. It works by re-energizing mitochondria through a cellular renewal process called mitophagy—the removal of damaged cellular powerhouses.
“We are defining a new scientific era where beauty is proactive, decoding the core biological mechanisms of skin aging,” explained Vania Lacascade, Global Brand President of Lancôme. The launch marks a significant shift from symptom correction to root cause intervention, targeting the skin’s biological age rather than delivering short-term cosmetic effects.
This partnership represents the first consumer launch produced since L’Oréal Groupe invested in Timeline in 2024. It brings longevity science, which has largely remained in supplements and wellness clinics, into mainstream skincare at scale.
