Introducing Lancôme’s Revolutionary Longevity Skincare: Mitopure
Luxury beauty titan, Lancôme, is pioneering a new epoch of “skin longevity” science. This is made possible through an innovative partnership with Swiss biotech firm, Timeline. The alliance brings cellular anti-aging technology from the supplement realm into mainstream skincare.
The collaboration is centered on Mitopure, Timeline’s exclusive molecule. Mitopure, backed by over $50 million in R&D and a decade and a half of research, is a highly purified form of Urolithin A. This postbiotic is clinically proven to re-energize mitochondria—the powerhouses of cells—through a cellular renewal process known as mitophagy. This process eliminates damaged mitochondria.
The upcoming skincare range will be revealed at the American Academy of Dermatology convention in Denver, from March 27-29, 2026. The range combines Mitopure with Lancôme’s proprietary compounds to target the skin’s biological age, not just visible symptoms. This marks the first global-scale deployment of Mitopure through a major beauty brand.

These new strategies address the root causes of aging at the cellular level. L’Oréal, Lancôme’s parent company, invested in Timeline in 2024 to initiate this joint research alliance.
