Solabia Group Acquires Swiss Cosmetic Ingredients Innovator Mibelle Biochemistry
French biotech active ingredients company, Solabia Group, has confirmed its acquisition of Mibelle Biochemistry. A leading Swiss innovator, Mibelle specializes in high-performance cosmetic ingredients. The announcement of the acquisition, from Spain’s Persán group, came on February 19, 2026.
This strategic transaction bolsters Solabia’s leadership in the realm of natural and bio-based active ingredients. It brings together two science-driven organizations, each with a unique expertise in advanced biotechnology and plant-based science.
Founded in 1991, Mibelle Biochemistry has earned global recognition for its groundbreaking innovations. Notable among these is SenoCellTec, a next-generation senolytic active ingredient. SenoCellTec is designed to combat skin aging by targeting and eliminating senescent “zombie” cells, while simultaneously stimulating skin stem cell renewal.
