Bluetail Unveils Revolutionary AI-Driven Digital Logbooks for Aircraft Records
Bluetail, a frontrunner in digital aircraft records management software, has launched its innovative AI-powered digital logbooks. These logbooks revolutionize the way aircraft maintenance records are organized and sequenced, marking a significant leap forward in aviation records management technology.
Announced on February 24, 2026, the new platform enables aircraft owners and operators to upload any scanned document—be it handwritten or typed. The AI then automatically identifies, organizes, and sequences them in exact chronological order within the digital logbook. Roberto Guerrieri, the Chief Executive Officer, stated that this innovation “means more than building software—it means applying intelligence to unlock the full value of aircraft records.”
The system offers users the ability to instantly search entire logbooks either chronologically or by keyword. This feature allows for easy location of inspection dates, service records, and individual part numbers. Kent Pickard, the Chief Technology Officer, highlighted that the AI-powered logbooks provide a seamless experience for aviation maintenance crews, enabling them to concentrate on returning aircraft to service rather than administrative tasks.
The platform ensures compliance for Part 91 and Part 135 operations and aids in preserving aircraft value through organized and secure record keeping.
