Unveiling the Future: Samsung Galaxy S26 Series Set to Launch at Unpacked 2026

Samsung is poised to reveal its eagerly awaited Galaxy S26 smartphone series tonight at the inaugural Galaxy Unpacked event of 2026. The event, scheduled to commence at 10:00 AM PT (1:00 PM ET / 11:30 PM IST), will be held in the vibrant city of San Francisco.

The event will be broadcast live on a variety of platforms including Samsung.com, the Samsung Newsroom, and Samsung’s official YouTube channel. Although Samsung has yet to officially confirm the products set to launch, the Galaxy S26, Galaxy S26+, and Galaxy S26 Ultra are anticipated to make their debut as successors to the Galaxy S25 series of the previous year.

Samsung has hinted that this launch will herald “a new phase in the era of AI as intelligence becomes truly personal and adaptive.” The company has teased a number of innovative Galaxy AI features, such as:

  • Advanced mobile photography tools
  • Day-to-night photo transformation in seconds
  • Restoration of missing parts of objects in images
  • Detailed low-light photography
  • Seamless merging of multiple photos into a single result

In the lead-up to the event, Samsung disclosed that the S26 series will boast an updated, more conversational Bixby assistant and will incorporate third-party AI agents within Galaxy AI, including offerings from Perplexity. Based on leaked images, the new lineup is not expected to deviate significantly from the design of previous models, reflecting Samsung’s measured approach to phone updates.

Pre-reservations for the forthcoming devices have already commenced in India and global markets, with Samsung offering special incentives for early adopters. The company has positioned this as one of the most significant tech events of the year.
