Record-Breaking $35.7 Billion in GA Aircraft Billings in 2025
The General Aviation Manufacturers Association (GAMA) unveiled its 2025 aircraft shipment and billing report on February 18, 2026. The report revealed a record-breaking $35.7 billion in general aviation billings, marking the highest figure ever recorded in the report’s history.
Business jets were the primary driver behind this record-setting number, with an 11.8% increase from 2024 to 2025. This surge resulted in a total of 854 jets sold. In 2025, airplane shipments saw piston airplanes rise to 1,782 units. However, turboprops experienced a slight decline of 5.1%, amounting to 594 units.
For the 23rd year in a row, Cirrus Aircraft retained its position as the top-selling GA manufacturer, with a total of 797 aircraft deliveries. Textron Aviation followed closely with 639 aircraft deliveries. Meanwhile, Gulfstream led the industry in revenue, generating $7 billion from the sale of more than 156 aircraft.
GAMA President James Viola noted that while some segments witnessed marginal declines in deliveries, they all remained above 2019 levels. The industry continues to maintain a healthy backlog worth $7.7 billion.
