Korean Beauty Giants, Pretty Skin and Lamelin, Conduct Skin Science Masterclass in Manila
Korean skincare powerhouses, Pretty Skin and Lamelin, hosted an education-centric masterclass titled “Skin2Confidence: Where Skin Care Meets Makeup.” This event, held on February 7, 2026, served as the second installment of the series. It brought together a diverse group of dermatologists, pharmacists, partners, influencers, and consumers to explore the nexus of dermatologic science and everyday beauty routines.
The session, known as Batch 2, facilitated a dialogue between representatives from Korea and the Philippines. The discussion centered around the adaptation of Korean skincare principles to suit local conditions. These conditions include the country’s tropical climate, daily makeup use, and prevalent skin concerns.
In a virtual message from Korea, Jung Bung-sub, founder and CEO of Pretty Skin Lamelin Korea, underscored the essence of Korean skincare. He emphasized that it is rooted in “science, systems, discipline, and long-term skin health” rather than fleeting trends. This masterclass underscores the escalating global influence of K-beauty and its commitment to evidence-based skincare approaches tailored to diverse climates and skin types.
