Unilever’s Beauty Brands Flourish: Dove & Vaseline Spearhead Growth
Consumer goods titan, Unilever, recently reported a significant surge in its beauty and wellness division. The iconic brands, Dove and Vaseline, have been instrumental in delivering double-digit sales increases for 2025.
The company’s Beauty & Wellbeing division saw a 4.3% underlying sales growth, reaching a staggering €12.8 billion. This growth was propelled by a strategic emphasis on premium innovations and science-led products.
Vaseline achieved an extraordinary double-digit growth for the third consecutive year. Meanwhile, Dove demonstrated a robust performance through its new fibre repair technology range and Whole Body Deodorant expansion.
The wellness category also witnessed significant growth. Brands like Nutrafol and Liquid I.V. delivered double-digit growth. In a noteworthy achievement, Liquid I.V. reached the billion-dollar brand status in 2025.
“In 2025, we became a simpler, sharper, and faster Unilever, delivering our commitment to volume growth, positive mix and strong gross margin,” said CEO Fernando Fernandez.
The company announced these results on February 13, 2026. However, it also issued a caution that the 2026 growth is expected at the lower end of its 4-6% guidance range due to slower market conditions.
