Lancôme Partners with Swiss Biotech Firm to Launch Groundbreaking Longevity Skincare Range
L’Oréal’s luxury brand, Lancôme, is set to revolutionize the longevity beauty sector with the imminent launch of an innovative skincare range. This groundbreaking collection, developed in collaboration with Swiss biotech firm Timeline, is scheduled to make its debut at the American Academy of Dermatology convention in Denver, from March 27-29, 2026.
This marks the first time Mitopure (Urolithin A) will be incorporated into topical skincare products on a global scale. Mitopure is a highly pure form of Urolithin A, a longevity molecule that has been the focus of over $50 million in research and 15 years of development.
The technology behind Mitopure targets the skin’s biological age through mitophagy-driven cellular renewal. It works by re-energizing mitochondria—known as the powerhouses of cells—to restore cellular vitality. This approach addresses the fundamental mechanisms of aging, rather than just treating surface symptoms.
“We are defining a new scientific era where beauty is proactive, decoding the core biological mechanisms of skin aging,” stated Vania Lacascade, Global Brand President of Lancôme. This partnership follows L’Oréal’s 2024 investment in Timeline and signifies a major advancement in precision beauty diagnostics and longevity science.
