A comprehensive wellness trends report uncovers a pivotal shift in consumer health and beauty approaches by 2026. The report highlights fiber as the emerging superstar nutrient and AI-powered wearables as the game-changers in personal wellness routines. Drawing from multiple industry sources, the report confirms that wellness has become an integral part of beauty routines, with 40% of consumers considering it essential.
Technological wearables, which allow users to monitor sleep, exercise, and blood oxygen levels, are gaining popularity. Companies like Finland’s Oura, valued at $1 billion in 2025, and subscription-based Whoop, valued at $3.6 billion, continue to demonstrate impressive adoption rates. The FDA’s recent announcement of reduced stringent regulation on these devices provides an additional boost to the sector. Industry data reveals that these devices are helping form an average of two new healthy behaviors, with a whopping 87% of users reporting positive changes such as improved sleep habits and increased exercise frequency.
On the other hand, fiber is transitioning from a simple digestive aid to a multi-benefit powerhouse driving metabolism, hormones, and gut-brain health. Independent soda brand Olipop, whose products pack six to nine grams of plant-derived fiber per can, was valued at $1.85 billion in February 2025. Competitor Poppi was acquired by PepsiCo for $1.95 billion in May 2025, indicating a significant corporate interest in functional fiber products.
