Bombardier Secures a Whopping $1.18B Order from Vista Global for Challenger 3500 Jets

In a significant development for the business aviation sector, Bombardier has bagged a colossal $1.18 billion order from Vista Global, a leading private jet operator worldwide. The announcement, made on February 11, 2026, comprises 40 firm orders for the Challenger 3500 business aircraft, with options for an additional 120 aircraft. This could potentially escalate the total value to $4.72 billion.

The Challenger 3500, accommodating up to 10 passengers, is equipped with Bombardier’s patented Nuage zero-gravity seats, voice-controlled cabin systems, and 4K entertainment. This makes it the fastest-growing platform in the super-midsize category. Éric Martel, President and CEO of Bombardier, asserts that the aircraft delivers “the perfect balance of cutting-edge technology, exceptional comfort, and proven value.”

Deliveries are set to commence immediately in 2026 and will continue over the next decade, bolstering Vista’s expanding membership base. In 2025, Vista’s Program Member base saw a growth of 12%, with the company recording 16% more live Program hours year-over-year. The order signifies the sustained demand for private aviation, especially in the U.S., Europe, and emerging markets in the Middle East, Asia, and Africa.
