Virgin Voyages has announced an unprecedented success during the 2026 Wave booking season, reporting a 34% growth in bookings and 45% growth in revenue. The adults-only cruise line revealed that January 2026 marked the highest booking month in the company’s history.
The cruise line’s CEO, Nirmal Saverimuttu, stated they are entering 2026 and 2027 in the strongest position they’ve ever been in, capitalizing on the rapidly growing adults-only travel sector. Industry analysts project this segment will expand from $9.2 billion in 2024 to $18.1 billion by 2033, representing a 7.8% compound annual growth rate.
Virgin Voyages’ year-over-year bookings increased nearly 20%, with gross ticket revenue rising almost 30%. Ships are sailing at full commercial load factors, demonstrating sustained demand across the fleet. The cruise line’s special Wave season offers, available through February 26, 2026, include promotions for high-demand sailings to the Caribbean, Europe, Alaska, and new West Coast itineraries aboard the Brilliant Lady.
