Record-Breaking Attendance at India AI Impact Summit

The India AI Impact Summit 2026, one of the world’s largest global gatherings in artificial intelligence, has commenced in New Delhi. Opening on February 16 at Bharat Mandapam, the five-day summit has already seen an unprecedented number of nearly 2.5 lakh (250,000) registrations, indicating a significant interest in AI collaboration and policy dialogue.

An extensive on-ground logistics network has been deployed by the organizers to manage the expected surge of delegates, startups, and global leaders. In a remarkable blend of technology and commerce, quick-commerce platform Zepto will operate an exclusive dark store inside the venue to handle rapid supply needs during the summit. Additionally, Swiggy will integrate directly with food kiosks to streamline meal distribution for thousands of attendees.

Access to the summit is managed through a DigiYatra-based system, allowing registered participants to enter the venue using QR-enabled digital credentials. This summit comes at a crucial time when India is positioning itself as a major player in the global AI landscape.

OpenAI CEO Sam Altman recently expressed confidence in India’s potential to lead the global AI race ahead of the summit. Furthermore, Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the India AI Impact Expo on February 16, highlighting India’s growing role in global artificial intelligence innovation.
