Cirrus Launches Gen 3 Vision Jet: A 7-Seater Marvel with Advanced Avionics
Cirrus Aircraft has unveiled the Generation 3 Vision Jet, a substantial upgrade to its acclaimed single-engine personal jet. The new model boasts expanded seating and advanced avionics capabilities.
The G3 model is a game-changer with a completely redesigned cabin interior. It can now comfortably seat up to seven occupants, thanks to a new third-row bench seat. This significant increase in capacity positions the Vision Jet as one of the most spacious options in the personal jet category.
But the enhancements don’t stop at the cabin. The aircraft also includes updated Garmin-based Perspective Touch+ avionics with several new capabilities:
- ATC datalink for text-based communications
- Alerts-linked checklists
- Improved 3D SafeTaxi surface mapping
Additionally, the G3 introduces new Spectra wingtips with lighting that is more than twice as bright as previous versions.
Since the aircraft’s certification in 2016, Cirrus has delivered more than 700 Vision Jets worldwide. The single-engine jet continues to include the company’s signature Cirrus Airframe Parachute System (CAPS) and Safe Return emergency autoland technology, ensuring multiple layers of safety for pilots and passengers.
