OTM 2026 Wraps Up: India Solidifies Its Position as a Key Player in the Global Travel Market
Asia’s premier travel trade show, OTM 2026, drew to a close today at the Jio World Convention Centre in Mumbai. The event underscored India’s significance as a crucial outbound travel market globally. It served as a melting pot for the international travel and tourism fraternity at a critical juncture for the industry.
Acknowledged by NielsenIQ as the Foremost Travel Trade Show in India and Asia for two years running, OTM 2026 welcomed over 2,200 exhibitors from over 60 nations. The event saw participation from 45+ National Tourism Organizations and attracted more than 50,000 travel trade visitors over the span of three days.
Malaysia Airlines graced OTM 2026 as the Partner Airline, boasting a significant presence. It highlighted its network connectivity, premium services, and India-centric travel solutions. A host of other airlines also took part across the exhibition floor, mirroring the growing confidence in India’s burgeoning global travel influence.
The OTM Forum rolled out a comprehensive program of leadership and industry discourse. It convened top-tier representatives from travel platforms, corporate travel, weddings, marketing, technology, and distribution. Numerous tourism boards and airlines utilized the platform to refine their India strategy. This included Thailand’s destination promotion, product updates from Air India and Air India Express, and Morocco’s tourism initiatives targeted at India.
