Unveiling Beauty Tech Innovations at CES 2026: L’Oréal’s 7 Game-Changers
The Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2026 in Las Vegas was a stage for groundbreaking beauty technology. L’Oréal stole the spotlight, unveiling seven innovative beauty-tech products set to revolutionize at-home beauty routines.
Light Straight + Multi-styler: The Star of the Show
The star of the show was the Light Straight + Multi-styler, a CES 2026 Innovation Award Honoree. This tool uses near-infrared light at temperatures below 320°F to straighten hair—significantly cooler than conventional tools that operate at 400°F+. With 58% of women citing heat damage as their primary hair concern, this technology aims to prevent keratin degradation while reshaping molecular bonds.
L’Oréal’s Flexible LED Face and Eye Masks
Another breakthrough from L’Oréal was the ultra-thin, flexible LED face and eye masks. Made of one-millimeter-thick silicone, these masks conform to facial contours. Designed for daily 10-minute sessions, they emit red light and near-infrared light to combat discoloration, fine lines, and sagging. This technology was developed in partnership with iSMART Developments, a B2B beauty technology company.
Amorepacific’s Skinsight: AI and Advanced Diagnostics in Skincare
South Korean beauty giant Amorepacific unveiled Skinsight, a skin analysis platform developed with researchers from MIT. This innovation showcases how AI and advanced diagnostics are becoming central to personalized skincare. The show featured over 4,100 exhibitors and 148,000 attendees, marking it the largest post-pandemic CES edition to date.
