The Singapore Airshow 2026, scheduled for February 3-8 at the Changi Exhibition Centre, is sparking a significant tourism surge. Aviation enthusiasts and industry professionals from over 50 countries are flocking to Asia’s largest aerospace exhibition. Major airlines such as Boeing, Emirates, and Singapore Airlines are leveraging the event to announce new routes and fleet expansions, transforming Singapore into a global tourism hotspot.
Now in its 10th edition, marking 20 years of contribution to the global aerospace sector, the biennial event features more than 1,000 participating companies. Representatives from major aviation companies and government agencies in countries including the USA, Japan, South Korea, France, Germany, and the UK are creating an unprecedented demand for accommodation and hospitality services.
Singapore’s hospitality industry is experiencing a significant boom. Major hotel chains such as Marriott, Hilton, Shangri-La, and Accor are reporting higher occupancy rates. The 2024 edition generated over S$391 million in economic activity, attracting more than 50,000 trade attendees and 60,000 public attendees. The 2026 edition is poised to deliver a similar economic impact.
Airlines are enhancing service to Singapore with improved connectivity, offering travelers shorter journey times and more direct flights. The event showcases cutting-edge aircraft including the Airbus A350-1000.
