Unveiling the Beachcomber: Margaritaville at Sea’s Largest Vessel

Margaritaville at Sea is gearing up to launch its grandest ship yet, the Beachcomber. This colossal vessel boasts over 15 brand-new onboard experiences, alongside beloved fan-favorite venues. The 102,500-gross-ton ship, with a capacity to accommodate 3,450 passengers, is set to commence operations in late 2026, following a comprehensive transformation from its previous incarnation as Costa Fortuna.

The ship will proudly showcase the signature 5 o’Clock Somewhere bar as a four-deck-tall “poolside playground”. This will be the world’s largest installation of this iconic venue, equipped with its own bar, live music stage, and an array of tropical food and drinks.

  • The JWB Prime Steakhouse
  • The Cheeseburger in Paradise burger bar
  • The License to Chill pool deck with waterslides, whirlpools, and adults-only cabanas available for rent

Starting from 2027, the Beachcomber will embark on year-round voyages from PortMiami. It will offer 4- to 8-night Eastern and Southern Caribbean itineraries, with destinations including St. Maarten, St. Thomas, San Juan, and the Dominican Republic.

“With Beachcomber, we wanted to create a design that captures the spirit of fun, warmth and relaxed adventure,” said Martha Brabham, head of design at Margaritaville at Sea.

The ship features 1,340 staterooms spread across 13 passenger decks, with a stunning eight-story center atrium.
