Cirrus Aircraft Launches 2026 SR Series G7+ with Enhanced Connectivity
Cirrus Aircraft has proudly launched its 2026 SR Series G7+ lineup for the SR20, SR22, and SR22T models. This launch introduces significant enhancements in connectivity, avionics, and design, further solidifying Cirrus’s position as a leader in the high-performance single-engine piston aircraft market.
All 2026 aircraft models are equipped with G7+ generational updates. These include:
- Safe Return Emergency Autoland
- Automatic Database Updates powered by Cirrus IQ PRO Advanced
- Runway Occupancy Awareness
- Smart Pitot Heat
The enhanced Cirrus Global Connect system now provides automatic weather updates every five minutes along flight routes. This reduces pilot workload by delivering improved storm cell movement, turbulence, and icing information.
The aircraft now feature upgraded high-power USB-C ports throughout the cabin. This includes two 60W ports in the front and two 100W ports in the rear, designed to seamlessly power modern devices including Starlink connectivity systems.
The SR Series, which recently celebrated its 11,000th aircraft delivery, introduces two new premium collections for Carbon and Platinum liveries. Additionally, three new exterior paint colors have been added to the palette: Tangerine, Maldives, and Viridian.
