L’Oréal Reveals Groundbreaking Thinnest LED Face Mask at CES 2026

LAS VEGAS – Beauty titan, L’Oréal, has taken the wraps off a revolutionary LED face mask at CES 2026 this week. The company touts it as the world’s slimmest flexible LED mask, signifying a major leap forward in at-home beauty technology.

Unlike the current generation of rigid panel LED masks, L’Oréal’s latest innovation is crafted from silicon. It boasts unique, separate components specifically engineered to target the under-eye area – a feature that existing LED masks fall short of. The technology harnesses the power of red light and near-infrared wavelengths to tackle fine lines, uneven skin tone, and sagging skin. The company advocates a mere 10 minutes of daily usage for optimal results.

Guive Balooch, L’Oréal’s Global Vice President of Augmented Beauty and Open Innovation, confirmed that the mask meets the dermatologist-recommended threshold of at least 630nm of red light and 830nm of near-infrared light, ensuring clinical efficacy. Although the devices are slated for a 2027 release, Balooch hinted at a mid-range price point, thereby making professional-grade LED therapy more accessible to the average consumer.

This launch is part of a wider trend witnessed at CES 2026, where beauty tech has carved out a significant niche alongside traditional technology companies. The robust presence of beauty technology at the show underscores the growing importance of digital capabilities and at-home devices in the cosmetics industry, as consumers increasingly seek professional-grade treatments in the comfort of their homes.
