L’Oréal Debuts Groundbreaking Light-Based Beauty Gadgets at CES 2026
Global beauty leader, L’Oréal, has unveiled its latest beauty technology at CES 2026. The company showcased two innovative devices that utilize the power of light to revolutionize haircare and skincare routines. The Light Straight + Multi-styler and the LED Face Mask were both recognized as CES 2026 Innovation Award Honorees.
The Light Straight + Multi-styler addresses a significant consumer concern. A whopping 58% of women surveyed reported their hair was damaged by heat styling. This device, using patented infrared light technology, straightens hair at temperatures never exceeding 320°F. This is a considerable improvement over traditional straighteners that can reach 400°F or higher. According to L’Oréal’s instrumental tests, this styler works three times faster and leaves hair twice as smooth as leading premium hair stylers.
On the skincare front, the LED Face Mask represents a leap forward in anti-aging technology. This ultra-thin, flexible silicone mask was developed in collaboration with iSmart Developments. It delivers targeted red light (630 nm) and near-infrared light (830 nm) to combat fine lines, sagging, and uneven skin tone. The lightweight design integrates seamlessly into daily routines with automatic 10-minute sessions.
Both products are set to launch globally in 2027. Pricing details will be announced on the L’Oréal website.
