L’Oréal Debuts Groundbreaking LED Face Mask at CES 2026

Global beauty leader L’Oréal has unveiled breakthrough beauty technology at CES 2026, introducing an ultra-thin, flexible LED Face Mask that promises to redefine anti-aging skincare. The innovative device, which earned a CES 2026 Innovation Award, is currently in prototype form and expected to launch in 2027.

Developed in collaboration with I-Smart Developments, the mask delivers targeted red light (630 nm) and near-infrared light (830 nm) directly to the face through an advanced, skin-safe microcircuit. L’Oréal’s testing indicates the device combats visible signs of aging including:

  • Fine lines
  • Sagging
  • Uneven skin tone

The lightweight, flexible silicone design integrates seamlessly into daily routines with automatically timed 10-minute sessions.

Barbara Lavernos, Deputy CEO in charge of Research, Innovation and Technology at L’Oréal Groupe, stated that the company’s pioneering advancements in light technologies at CES 2026 demonstrate their commitment to pushing beauty boundaries. The announcement also included the Light Straight + Multi-styler, a hair styling tool using patented infrared light technology to protect hair from heat damage while delivering salon-quality results at lower temperatures.
