STARLUX Airlines Welcomes First Airbus A350-1000 Featuring Innovative New Livery
STARLUX Airlines, based in Taiwan, proudly took delivery of its first Airbus A350-1000 on January 6, 2026. This milestone event makes STARLUX the 11th global operator of the largest version of the A350. The delivery signifies a major expansion for the burgeoning airline as it persistently builds its premium all-Airbus fleet.
In celebration of the arrival of its newest flagship, STARLUX revealed an eye-catching new livery. This design beautifully marries innovation and identity, reflecting the airline’s unique brand. The design cleverly integrates the airline’s signature visual elements with a carbon-fibre motif, symbolizing the advanced composite materials that are integral to the aircraft’s construction. The prominent ‘1000’ emblazoned on the fuselage underscores the aircraft’s status as the largest in-production Airbus model.
The airline has placed orders for a total of 18 A350-1000s. These new additions will flawlessly complement its existing fleet, which includes A321neo, A330-900, and A350-900 aircraft. The introduction of the new widebody aircraft enables STARLUX to broaden its long-haul routes and fortify its presence in the fiercely competitive Asian aviation market.
